Below the sound

I can feel it
The instrumental wings pulsing power to a journey
Breathing deep the grandeur of getting off my feet
With every sunset I shall sore and dream
Mysterious freedom sauntering in my soul

And preferable so I choose not to land
For the ghost of lift is with me now holding my palm
I can’t hear the earth below just the roaring of the clouds so slow
Floundering beauty beneath an August moon
A man’s wish for flight never taken lightly to cross these skies

I must rejoice in this capture so heavenly we bond
I hope I don’t forget me for I’ve been gone for an eternity
Rings of the purple sun, with the sea and my eyes
For I have left the world abandoned
A flock birds passed by
