About This Poem

Gluggamous-fluggamous, spitimy-bitimy

Gluggamous-fluggamous
Grandfather Thaddeus
went to the grocery store
bought him a lime

Home with tequila and
salt coated shot glass he
unceremonious
lost track of time.

Spitimy-bitimy
Grandma Penelope
done with her work early
home she did race.

One glance at Grandfather
mega-monstrosity
Grandma retreated to
Clyde's warm embrace

I live with my grandparents, who are quite elderly, and they too want alcohol and warm embraces themselves as well! I enjoyed this awesome write tonight!!

Double dactylisciously delightful dance dear! Giggling grandly at grandmother's glance// yet wondering which came first//spitimy bitimy embracing romance//or gluggamous fluggamous thirst?

Came to check out this wild title. That spitimous-bitimous will get a man in trouble every time he has the gluggamy-fluggamy, no doubt. Nice wordplay here and an interesting, kind of humorous take on a real problem for old gramps :)
