The Sign

A dumb man spoke without a word
Through tired eyes that gently cared
A blind man saw into my soul
Whispered words yet unheard
A poor man gave me sympathy
Its all he had but it was free
Follow the path you know thats true
Life will be rich and so will you
An old man spoke as if a child
As into Gods eyes he then smiled
This man I am young for a while
Will try my best in lifes short time
Sometimes to fail, but thats no crime
He died but tried and left this sign
I lived a life that was not mine
Belonged to Death for all time.................!

A sign telling us that our lives do not belong to death but to serve a higher purpose? That is what I got from your words. Welcome to the soup and thanks for sharing. Steve
