Thank God for Noah

Almighty
Father in heaven,
Father of mine Christ;
this soul throbs deep
within mine chest
causing limp these limbs
and my heavy breath, for,
the miracle, You have
blessed me with

I love his reach
and tender kiss,
his; rough Pops up, and
ice crème drips,
and,
the notes poets affix
cheering Your gift

My loving God
in Christ’s precious name
I don this lyric
with You in mind

Yes, in your sublime
magnificent gest’
each day I note;
Your love for me,
Your doting gift

    I agree my friend. Everything we have is a gift. All good things come from God. Even though we think we "earned" it we didn't really. The Opportunity came from Him. Great stuff. God Bless, JB

    What a precious gift you have given Noah...I hope you keep your words in a binder or a book form.Some day there will be a time..he will cherish your words, maybe as a father himself..he will understand this kind of love even better. So strong is your bond, James. And thank you for your kind words today on one of my first poems written here. "Unlatched"was always one that came from deep within...perhaps not my best..but one that means much to me. Thanks for reminding me.:)A great week to you too!

    How well you describe not only your love for Noah with his cute "ice cream drips," but also your appreciation that God blessed you with a son. Such a sweet and uplifting poem, dear. Love it and love you. (Noah too!) Carolyn

    Thank you dear James for your kind words about my garden poem and I am glad I found this one about your Noah. You seem to have a perfect relationship with that little guy. How wonderful that you realize how great these young years are and appreciate him so much. May you have a long loving relationship with him. Love, Joyce
