Hold On

Feel the weight of my silence,
I swim from my ocean's past,
I argue with the wind,
Covered with that verse that I hate,
I travel to my faint space,
Searching for my borrowed corner,
My pace is invisible, deliberate is my step,
Mistake is my reflection, taken for the night,
Match with a cause,
My shelter is my function,
My odd is my curse.

This is a very briliant write. Sometimes we have to come face to face with ourselves. You are in the right place. A place where you can travel through your poetry and others and explore new Horizons. welcome to the Soup. Lucilla

I so love the metaphors you used very unique! I am not sure you want the word [odd] in the last line did you? Or did you want Ode? Thanks so much for making me aware of Margie's age. Light & Love
