I Will Never Let You Go

I finally met someone
someone who stole my heart
made me feel at ease
like we'd never part
when will I see
no one ever really wanted me?

I'm just a girl
who comes and goes
like the wind
I'm never missed
like the wind
so we never really kissed

I'm so stupid to believe
in true love and
fairy tales
to believe that what
we have is real
so young and naive
still doesn't change the way
I feel

Oh if only I could touch your face
feel its embrace
the warmth
your grace
to tell you at least once
that I love you so much

How dare I dream of such things
for you told me we would never be
looked me in the eyes
and told me to fade away
if this is what you need
then I will obey

I know you don't believe
that what I say is true
I guess that means
there is nothing more that I can do

When I go to sleep
I hope not to wake
and to become the wind around you
so I can then feel your love
feel the warmth that surrounds you
this will be the only way
I will be set free
can't cage the wind
can't cage me
