Butterfly

When we met, I never even knew your name,
now I search for you in light of suns flame.
I imagine that you taste of honey dew,
and my love deepens for karner blue.

Hidden among the cover of a similar hue wields,
my beautiful karner butterfly in blue lupine fields.
On your wings my soul was lifted when I found you,
my lovely karner blue.

In fields of azure I spy to see your blue wings fly,
but found to be blinded in colors of a likened hue.
Unable to see your beauty with naked eye,
my hidden treasure, karner blue.

Let me take you little butterfly to the dance in town,
in new tuxedo for me, you in your gossamer gown.
We can make a grand entrance in our dazzling debut,
oh come show yourself, my pretty karner blue.
