Three Baby Birds

Buried under the brandhes

outside my bath room window

sits a little nest where

each lovely morning I hear chirping

so sweet to my ear,

that will bring much joy

to our world when

these little creatures

flee their nest,

will be silent outside

my window, but beautiful

harmony in the tree tops.

It's wonderful to have such a thing as this in one's yard, isn't it? I got an email recently about a swallow killed on the road and pictures taken of its mate how he tried to move her with his wing and how he then realized she was dead and began chirping his heart out. Moving like your poem.

Yes indeed my friend. I do love the birds in my garden and have several bird baths and feeders. Great job. God Bless, JB
