About This Poem
Shades of Nighttime
The fire flies are now gone.
turning off my light as it grows
dim.
Sun rise beginning and the
shades are nighttime lifting.
The morning light shines
through my window panes,
where I see the waves of rain
falling hard.
Nothing is complete because
your not near...
My completeness will only happen
and my happiness too when your
back with me...
