A Bite of Torah

In still serene
	He waits -
To hear a joyous melody
	Of words -
Where union waits
	Between white spaces -
As each draws in their breath.
To lift black letters off the page
	And into Now -
A delicious feast of Torah,
	Eating aleph’s and bet’s -
	With a side of cheesecake.

                                             [For Shavuot]
