Daughters Lost

My daugthers Kate and Niamh (Neve) are great
They're different if you please
Ones a driven climber
the other takes life at ease

Kate the elder can shake and melder
Till you give in at last
she cannot wait to grow up mate
And party at your flat

The cooler Niamh street wise at ease
Has money and saves a lot
Don't buy that dress I'll keep this mess
and wash the dirty blot

The party girl a temper whirl
poor daddy is a wretch
He'll pay one day I'll get my way
I think it's evident

Niamh the one who'll save the day
her money stacked away
When Katy's spent she'll nag and vent
For Niamh to pay her way

Dear Girls I say come back one day
To me I'm good to say
I'll balance you out without a doubt
My love goes all the way.

They sound a bit like my children. I have a set of "mirror" twins, meaning totally opposite in looks, character and the works. I had me a good time rearing two creatures so different in makeup. I'm enjoying reading you, Ian. Good going. :-)
