when shall i be free

lost out of the tracks of time i sit
somewhere far away where no earthly issues block what i think
out in the barren land stretched over the deserted night
like stranded in an ocean in a wooden boat with no island in sight
at the edge of a rocky cliff with roaring white water splashing upto my toe
the feeling you have when you have no where else to go
when the rotations of the clock are just to and fro
and the only difference between day and night is the sun above or below

hoping a time would come when this journey will end
when i no longer will be trapped in this body, capable of false pretense
flying through the secrets of the universe unveiling them all
where i am not hesitant to take a step fearing that i'd fall
a being not controlled by the castle owners and palace lords
a being free to do what he or she wants
free of earthly desires of greed and lust
who wouldn't do evil for selfish wishes like its a must
no fear of death, no color no face
no discrimination ,no division of race
when no one will question my beliefs and my faith
no passport no visa no long lines of immigration
when i wont be judged by the ill doings of my nation
currency bank statements loans wouldn't be the things ill desperately need
away from betrayals,lies,corruption and deceit
afraid of nothing, anger at no one
heavy chains of new world slavery will be broken
when i wont be rich nor poor nor young nor old
it wouldn't even matter if im hot or cold
loving mankind and beyond none to hate
no worry of my rights male or female
freedom from the ever rising prices of oil, even poisons not cheap to eat
landlord screaming for rent,i wouldn't care if i have a place to sleep

what a wonderful world that will be ,
when will the time come when i shall be free
