A Woodland Path
A woodland path in the dappled sun,
hushed and quiet.
Only the subtle crunch of the leaves under my feet,
almost perfectly silent.
There is an eerie feeling lurking in the trees,
the atmosphere, and air.
Bark on the sturdiest trees are tough and stalwart,
unlike me- I'm scared.
I'm lost in the depths
of mixtures of green.
My vision is going vertigo,
possibly light-headed it seems.
A rush of panic rushes
in through my heart.
Twisting my insides,
ripping me apart.
A woodland path in the dappled sun,
hushed and quiet.
Only the subtle wisp of my breath,
and this obscure, vast environment.
