To Be

I awake from silent slumber,
To the singing of the trees,
The wind through my window beckons me.
The golden sun kisses my face with light.
I look out on blue skies, as the birds take flight.
Then,I begin to wonder, what it all means..
What it means to be alive?
Mountain, can you show me, how to touch the sky?
Flowing river, will you take me gently to the sea?Precious children, will you
teach me to see people through your eyes?
Gentle wind, fill me up inside, fill me up inside, with life.
The wind it moves in cycles, taking with it all our dreams.
Like leaves we drift in silence from the trees.
Each moment there's a message, in the music of the world.
Oh people can you hear the song?I know we'll always wonder, what it all means.
But maybe there's an answer, maybe there's an answer,
In front of our eyes.
Mountain, can you show me, how to touch the sky?
Flowing river, will you take me gently to the sea?
Precious children will you teach me to see people through your eyes?
Gentle wind, fill me up inside, fill me up inside, fill me up inside..
With LIFE.
