David, Once again, we find ourselves trapped in the Holiday Season. And, hear I am stopping by to say Hi and to wish you a Merry Christmas once again sincerely from my heart. Loving each moment I found comforting here on the soup. Thank you for any comment or support you have offered now or in the past. Love always & forever ~ PD

Words can never express the pain of loss. But this one is powerful, well written.

I have written about a little six year old who lost his daddy. I think I called it "What Do you Tell A Child of Six?" A vulnerable age. I'm sorry if this is a true story. Love, Joyce

wow! David, I can actually see the poem vividly. gees! I think this is the first time i have seen your name on the soup. & I want to read more. I'm so impressed with the flow here. It is a very sad image, & U did very well in making it flow through your poetry. I just can stop the goosebumps.. from the torture 1 has 2 endure. And the violence that comes within. I think self defense results can hurt a lot of people.. And kids when they are involved. David, hope its not your 6 year old memory.

As I read the ending, I can't help but feel for you, David...you brought that fear and sadness through your poem-- it is so comforting though that your mom's love was there to embrace you--thank you for dropping by my poem and your very inspiring thoughts on your daughter :) God definitely is among our families :) God bless you and yours :) --btw just a typo for tomorrow in your title-- I hope this helps :) enjoy your day, David :)
