Death Watch

The day I died,
My wife cried out
Beside my corpse.

Hi Jack! Thank you so much for your comment, at least we've got the 7th ranking! I am still handicapped with my right arm and hand and now a new problem with my left shoulder! Old age I guess!!! But I'm far from complaining. I also loved it to work with you! It was a great time!...Hope you and Sue are ok!...Have a great week! Love, Gert

Than-Bauk sounds like a Thailander's dish....lol. I like this form...I am new to it and appreciate the exposure...glad u are not "living" thru your poetry, as this poem would be a bad omen for u. Have a blessed weekend, Jack.

Don't laugh (ok sorry but I had to laugh, ONLY because of my captcha) I swear these captcha things creep me out sometimes-- it actually says "BUHU" here o_0. Whoa! How uncanny was that huh? but seriously, the form you used caught my eye- somebody told me about this form & I tried it out, very interesting topic you have here, and it got me wanting to try this form again...enjoy your weekend, Jack-- I hope what you say here though won't happen for a long long time...

Experienced this, Jack. So have many others. A very sad image in your poem. I'm not familiar with this form, but I love the way you used it. Thanks for your comments on Tombstone. I visited there and could sense the presence of spirits at the Bird Cage. Have a wonderful weekend! Love, Carolyn
