About This Poem
The Hunters Guide
Light sifts through the crinkled foliage,
As the shadows mimic the gentle sway and flutter of the leaves
For the full yellow white moon has risen.
Cascading waters, embraced by the grassy banks,
Capture the shimmering gleam, like a diamond bracelet
Wrapped around a woman’s wrist
A nesting bird wears its luster
On its grey speckled wings,
Tucked to sleep.
