About This Poem

COLORS for MOTHER

, COLORS for MOTHER,

Looking up towards the blue in the sky.
Every color in my eye camouflage into a cloud.
My tears began to dry.
Watching all these colors display out loud!

As the blackness began to fade.
The grey in my life finally made sense.
Every color overlapped forming a beautiful cascade.
My shoulders fairly tense.

I imagined your smile against the yellow sun.
Giving me light, with out matter on the things I've done.
A warmness in my red heart-- together we'll be in the long run.
Creating a new purple and pink sensation-- combing us as one.

My rainbow showed me that life- doesn't come in black and white.
Giving me reason to follow the joy of light.
A gift of colors reminding me that everything will be all right.
A guide blazing with orange wings for me at night.

A lavender plant blooming for me to see.
A garden of every color all for me.
In my eyes I will see the sun rise with the innocent glee.
My Rainbows will appear, without rain no matter how deep my sea.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet, is the perfect skin tan.
My sweet angel your the largest spectrum where ever a rainbow will span.

Well, I am still here extending my warm and loving hugs to you and your whole family with my fervent prayers for her fast recovery. Hug her for me, too. I know God is good and He'll not forsake. She'll be better soon. my love always Leonora

As they say on face book : I like. Seriously,Once I went to work and could not decide whether to give up this stressful job or not at a country hotel. Someone rang me in my office which had no windows and said You need to go to a funeral now. Driving back to work same day at 3.30pm I descended a hill to the business and saw 2 rainbows criss crossing the the roof of the buildng. I knew to give my job up there and then and would never have left the office but for that.

What a lovely poem! I thought it was an acrostic at first, thought I read "magic" somewhere, but that's just me being silly. The one time I wrote anything about a mother, wasn't about mine, so maybe I ought to write one one of these days.

You have weaved in these lines a beauty beyond words my friend. A gem of a Poem so beautiful and so full of emotions and love that for many moments one would keep exploring, which color is the best among the rainbow shades, you have brilliantly sketched in these lines. “My Rainbows will appear, without rain no matter how deep my sea". Sorry PD if I am responding on your comments quite late. Hope you all are very fine. Nothing new right now. Love and best wishes always...Ravindra...Poet D
