About This Poem
A Green Veil
``
A crowd of pink flamingos move about,
The green rushes that grow in a veil.
The pond is wet,
And all that surrounds the pond,
Is wet.
With that pink in air,
And green in air...
Green heads bent,
A pair of mallards float in damp mist.
In a fairytale realm,
Nature rests;
Where green rushes grow,
In soft ruffles of a veil.
