Law book

So many rules
that nobody follows
I don't know what you want me to do
I've disconnected
I write for myself
I can't help what they do
Getting my mind focused
back to my original beliefs
I'll be 6 1/2 years now
but maybe I'll get the real Corinne back
All I can do is try
months alone to do what i need to
to make things right
it's the only thing I can do

I enjoyed reading your wonderful poetry this afternoon Cotinne. Have a great weekend and I hope you find lots of inspiration along the way. Love, Carol

Whatever you do in life will be insignificant but it's important that you do it. GANDHI

When it comes to writing, I tend to disregard the "rules" often, Corrine. Like you, I write for myself and there are times when I find the person inside whom I thought I had lost. Compelling poem. Best wishes, Carolyn
