About This Poem
Starlight in My Tresses
``
They would appear it was close to the hour,
I waited holding my breath.
Millions I see the waves upon the sea,
To unfurl the view ahead.
The playful wind thumped on my shoulder,
Under their freezing touch I shivered.
They came stars in herds,
Showers of silver descending on the water.
Playing over the waves they spread
Their glitter all over the sea.
On a frosty cold night, a crystal silhouette night;
They spy their impish eyes on me.
I step into the water ,
In my tiny hands to gather
Silver dust sticking all over my dress as
I return with starlight in my tresses.
