THis poem is so sad and yet so true in some lives. I am so lucky the second time around with someone who really and truly loves me. Thanks for all of your kind comments. Take care and God bless you, Jancarl PS I entered the contest on a whim. I wish you luck with your entry.

Such few words remind us a lot about the oldest and saddest pain > that of love gone limp. I suppose it can be traced to human nature as exhibited by kids, we will do anything to get something like that which our friends have, but as soon as we get it, we start taking it for-granted, until we entirely abandon it. > Love is a such a beautiful thing, but it requires wisdom to keep it alive and growing . >>Wish you an awesome weekend my dear friend, Carol. it means so much to have friends like you.

Evaporates as Odoriferous Absurdities in on a windy spring eve! I think this will be the title of my next poem. Excellent cinquain! "Winning is for Winners like Carolyn D. Her words, honey rivers wide, the finest poet-tree!" Ya DiGG?

Seems to be a lot of break down of marriages. Failure to communicate is a big problem these days. Good luck in Catie's contest. Love Phyl

This is the point where true love takes over. After the honeymoon is done, after many moons, ya better have a friend or you're in trouble. "Breakdown!"
