The Wise Ant

oh how she toils
day in and day out
always storing
while the others play their games
never time to stop
not a breather to take
for the majority of the year
she works all day
but when the leaves change
and when they fall
and summer is over
the others all run and hide
fearing the wrath of the cold
the old wise ant
as an unmovable queen
sets upon her throne
