The wind of fate
The wind of fate
I watch a midnight stealing by,
And feel signs of night’s intent,
But did I behold the winds of fate
Here where judgment ends
Too long beheld accepted things
In the worth of passing time,
When forgotten seem the thoughts and deeds
Here where judgment ends
Noble are all mans designs
Nobler then nights intent,
And somewhere waits our life’s regrets
Here where judgment ends
