The Good Ones Reappear

WIPE THE TEARS OFF MY FACE
NOT SO FAST IT'S NOT A RACE
TO SEE ME CRY UNDER THIS RAGING RAIN
PLEASE! TIE MY FEELING UP IN A LACE
MAY THE BAD ONES FADE
THE GOD ONES REAPPEAR
OUT OF MY SHELL OF FEAR
HERE'S WHAT YOU HAVE TO HEAR
FROM THE ONES THAT TEARED
OF THE ONES THAT PASSED
FOR THE ONES WHO ARE HERE
THE GOOD ONES REAPPEAR
WITH BROKEN HEARTS THAT SUUROUND
FROM LOVING CHILDREN
WHO SCRAPED THE GROUND
TO CLEAN CEILINGS
TO POLISHED WALLS
ALL FOR WAR
THAT GAVE PEACE TO ALL
