Electric Eyes

Electric eyes
Burn my thighs
Fill once lonely nights with sighs
At one word I'd cut all ties
So we could run into the skies
Even though it means demise

Electric eyes
Tell only lies
Are nothing but a clever guise
The more I look I realize
That all they do is hypnotize

Electric eyes
Do not hear my broken cries
And as my sleeve slowly dries
I try my best to memorize

Electric eyes
Once sad goodbyes
Now I wear as my disguise
Electric eyes

Nice, congealed verse! The feminine mystique is tantalizingly brokered through those "electric eyes". A scintillating, captivating poem!

This is very enjoyable lyrical write. I read it aloud and what a fine song-like quality, Rachel
