Perchance they come in thousands,
With hopes of dreams come true,
Through every grain they muster,
Eliminations... two by two.
Not yet time for America's vote,
There's one last city, the coast,
Two thousand more try outs,
Three judges, who'll play host.
Only one can become the Idol,
As weeks turn tears to joy,
Left standing through it all,
ONE GIRL! ONE BOY!
Now it's time, to pick up the phone,
To vote your favorite in,
Today we witness history,
And a new Star's life begins.....
