The Prayer
I praise that life has been life
Though pain's pain, joy strived.
Smile has been strengthened by a sad moment
Of one which we cannot really forget.
But I seek for forgiveness for creating
And nurturing this sadness, I have caused so much suffering
To me, and to you who have loved,
But I cannot give back, so I pray now from above
To leave me for a while and embrace your heart
So pure, laced to nothing but has to go back from the start;
Comfort your sadness from my endless goodbyes
And seek enlightenment from the lord of the skies;
To stand anew and be firm to siege no war
Against thyself, so these I pray for I suffer as you are.
Amen.
