To Sell the Children of the World

Blackened of heart, they, who speculate the placing of souls to different grace?

Taken of the depressed, their preyed upon, is the lost in faith

Such are the treacherous ways that allow the conscious all

These ingratiated plethora of human embrace

Children of the world’s misery fits well to this company’s taste

As the story goes…

At the time, they had seen life as do snow fences that have no use for the summer
rain

From atop a lonesome hill, two separate lives which, had now sidled of separate stance of an open ended fence overlooking equal metaphor plane

Tormented souls and weathered pickets

Sworn not to a memory’s same moral ticket

Yet, of same judgment of existence to steep

It is their winter’s content to stand or fall, as empty winds blow past and side,
sounding of howls thru and thru for the cold, cold company that will - they forever keep

This immorality has gone on forever...but it's just a matter of time when each man and woman will be judge for both words and deeds, Dave. Always, Annalise

Anyone can relate to this as it takes place in may parts of the world, mostly economically backword areas, dave

Per your question, no, a woman could never leave a man broken just because he couldn't find the words to convey his love. His actions spoke louder. Love, Carolyn

Great use of imagery here, Dave, and the emotion is so strong. There is no "moral ticket" for those who sell children. I know this happens often, but it is harsh and cruel activity. Their days of judgment will come. Love, Carolyn
