About This Poem

Hush

You hush, do not rush,
Ears are all around
Like trees in the bush.
Silent is taller
Blabbing is lesser,
Hush! don't blush,
Lips could slander
So ponder before you utter.
Do not let your lips wander
Or else your tongue
Becomes slacker,
So hush... else you crash.
Quiet times are bigger and better,
Fumbling lips are trembling lips
Lacking a proper stand
And ground to land.
Hush!

I like this poem as the tongue can be the downfall of us for we can make or break someone's heart. As Linda Marie said-silence is golden. love mom
