Anguish
Anger seems to be a recurring theme within me.
White. Hot. Omnipotent.
Akin to a fiery, wild mustang running free with nary a regard for anything or anyone
Or a blazing lightening bolt dancing a dangerous tango with thunder across the stormy, night sky that could strike at any time
Yet how intriguing is this powerful emotion
My mental torment is wreaking havoc upon my physical form
Sanguine livelihood sending a heat wave to every part of me
Head, neck, and face burning so hot
My body is feverish and I feel sick to the touch
Spontaneous combustion never seemed so plausible as now
What's worse is no one even knows.
My smile fools them all.
A beautiful, sweet smile masks my inner turmoil
Here I stand right in front of you seemingly as happy as can be
You there ignorant to the pain you've caused me
A constant daily struggle to portray good graces though I am filled to the brim with rage
Nevertheless we all have our burdens to bare and nothing is ever as it seems
