Idle Watch

I sit and watch the passer-byes
Not staring back my curious eyes,
I wear a mask of oak-like tree
To knot the stodginess in me

Walk, they do in robotic pace
A grip of stride, a steady race,
What they do, where they go
It puzzles me, this mortal flow

Do they portray a test to truth
A weary show to pretend aloof,
Or am I seen as idle fool
A wasting one, a stubborn mule

Should I care?

I enjoyed this one. YOu seem to feel out of place among people. Today's world is more like (American) Idol Watch. haha. Luv, Andrea
