barren limbs - haiku

barren limbs
all the leaves have flown away
left with empty nest

    Makes me think of looking up into our old tree in the back yard. I never thought of the nests being empty, but it is sooooooo cold. Maybe. Love, Dave

    Very descriptive, Elaine. This reminds me of one Carolyn wrote. I think Charles is also also asking for just 15 syllables in total, but I may have misread the rules because I'm seeing a lot of entries that have more or fewer than 15. Good luck in the contest. Best to you, Diane
