Jonathon

 Jonathon never owned
              a pair of shoes
              or a football
              or a bicycle
Jonathon never heard
              a bird sing
              or a stream flow
              or his parents cry
Jonathon never saw
               the crisp white snow
               or a golden sunrise
               or his fourth birthday
Jonathon’s world was
               four sterile white walls
Jonathon ‘s toys were
                medical machines
Jonathon could
                smile occasionally
       Oh boy
Jonathon
             could smile

"brushing tears away" for Jonathon your words tell it "all" in this simple yet stunning poem, I am so sorry for this tradgey, anyone who has ever lost a child will be stirred by emotions with this write, as I have lost a child~~
