frozen flow cascade

a frozen flow
cascades upon the mountinside --
reflected sunlight

sun warmed droplets
stream along wet crevases --
a fawn drinks

fresh, clear, wild water
tumbles into the ocean --
sea gulls soar

This is not a true haiku for I have attempted to make a single image of flowing water from 3 place images of where the water flowed from..yet the unifying image is the flowing water ;)

A beautiful Haiku chain each standing alone just as much... Love your imagery used and the references to nature, there is something relaxing from the soothing waters of waterfalls and the shards of light that dance aongst them, but your first stanza makes me think of tears shed and the relief that passes with them - "blessing of the Light" with your capitalising the "L" of "Light", makes me think of faith, hope and prayer answered, miracles and all things born of God. So much more within...

Deborah, this has something very clear, relaxed, and dynamic about it at the same time. Amazing combination! Thanks by the way for your response to my blog, it was very much appreciated.

Heya Debbie. I really dig these haiku....and to think that you went against your old rule of being careful not to have too many actions happen in one haiku. These still came out as great haiku regardless.
