Michael the Archangel

Thanks to God who sent His son,
the first one born of all creation.
Before he came to live on Earth,
He first had an angelic birth.

His name is Michael, the foremost Prince.
Who helped to make us and has loved us since.
His affection was such, that he became Jesus,
To show us how to live and to free us.

After his death, to heaven he returned
To become our ruler, a kingdom he earned.
He had to wait for the appointed time
To begin his reign and put an end to crime.

In heaven, the cleansing first began
When Michael chased the demons to our land.
Why would he do such a thing, you might say,
It was necessary, though, that he do it that way.

Only then, can we chose between good and evil
To listen to God or do work of the devil.
In a short time, the “son of man” will appear
With signs that the end of this system is near.

It will begin with the destruction of false religions,
When God puts the thought in the minds of the politicians.
Then they will try to eradicate true Christians
At Armageddon though, they will come to their finish.

Thereafter it will be a such joyous time
When Michael will rule all mankind.
The resurrection will begin and then we will see
Our lost loved ones. Oh how ecstatic we will be.

Based on the following verses:
Proverbs 8:22-31
1Thessalonians 4:16
Revelation 19:14-16
Revelation 12:7
2Thessalonians 1:7

Susan, I love your zeal in writing what you believe.... The love of God lives in me and I'm sure you believe He lives in you. Just from the comments here, I see many varied opinions. Let me leave you with this. The further we get from the Cross, the more we find to argue and bicker about. I know what happened on the cross and it happened for all who now profess His Kingship. May the love of God continue to guide you on your journey down "Glory Road' (found on my page) Revel in His love for all.

Michael is not half man half God. nor is he an anster of David. he is an angel like Gabrial. besides being a warrior he is also a messenger.

If you can understand this. Michaell is "an angel of the Lord" not "The Angel of the Lord." then you may have learned something. But the rest you have a pretty good grip on. this verse may shed some light on what I am saying. Revelation 22: 16
