Wetness

WETNESS

I dance, dance, dance to a different beat, I kick up my legs
because I am sooooooo special and unique.
I hear harmonies in my head, making me wet today.
But did you try to dry me off? No you didn’t, you came
with your usual packaged self asking me,
“What’s for dinner”? and it’s only 9:00am.

My wetness makes no sense to you, you look away trying
to escape the glare from my stare.
Which has become the epitome of me, a unique brand of elements.
My wetness is so true to you that is sticks like glue.
Not crazy or gorilla glue, those passionate substances bond ever so true.
But the kind of glue that is loyal, thankful, trustworthy and
true. But all I want is for you to look at you and
take my wetness and make yourself wet too.
