devil within

 devil within

I catch a glance of my self

as a passing view

I hate what I see

because the scars prove how hard my life has been.

Not by luck but my choice

I used my fists instead of my voice.

My soul is whole

at last in life, without this I would cause trouble as easy as a roll of a dice.

I left sorrow in my wake, I fed my own demons, that was my mistake.

Im sober and clean my demons rest, for i finally beat my demons, the ones who
wouldnt let me rest.

At last I can finally rest.
