The Boating at Chettuva

Aesthetics opened its eyes on wavelets;
Our boat moved on to ecstasies.
The twittering green mangroves
Peep through the creatures, the Hanging Sword under.
Moved on :the zephyr is teaching flora the nautch,
And the sky putting on saffron a saree.
The oyster collectors;the mud taking coolies;
And the canoes with nets : all fish life.
Just one line I am enjoying
From the verse with a thousand green lines,
Naturally rhymed ; and its title,
“God’s Own Country”, is quite mirroring.

The boat returns to the bank of memories,
And strands on the canvas of the mind.
