The year the sky caught fire

That's what they called it way back then,
In 1666 in London,
The sky caught fire,
Now some people believe things go in cycles,
I do believe the sky caught fire this year,
This makes for the end of a very long cycle-Doesn't it?

I'm not sure if it was your intent, Anthony, but I had images of the Muslim threats and protests in London this year while reading this intriguing poem. It is very frightening to know that your country is being threatened with 9/11 type events and I'm praying for a peaceful resolution. Thanks for sharing this thought-provoking poem. Love, Carolyn
