Gems For The Soul

~ Gems For The Soul ~

                          ~><><~

I like the days
                     ~ when hearts are happy
Filled with rays
                       ~ of sunshine bright

Times are hard
                     ~ but still enjoy life
Show a façade
                     ~ of contentment even

The soul may be torn
~ but show a smiling face
No need to mourn
~ for tomorrow is a new day

Good friends you keep
                                 ~ for they are precious
For them you weep
~ if they should ever leave

Try always to be good
~ and to others be a blessing
Like Jesus says we should
~ if we want to go to heaven

Sometimes it’s only just one parent
~ show them love, honor and respect
They may sometimes pay your rent
~ they always see you as their child

Parents always show respect
~ love and care for your children
God will certainly inspect
~ how you took care of your charge

                                          ~><><~
