Hi John, the kyrielle definition calls for rhyming couplets or quatrains. Under the definition of quatrains, it suggests an abab rhyme scheme, so that's why I chose it for my Wild Bells entry. I think quatrains can have aabb as well, but that is not in the Soup Forms definition. I think we had a choice of couplets or quatrains for rhyme with the kyrielle and Dr. Ram is wonderful about letting us know when we miss the mark. Have a great weekend, dear friend! Love, Carolyn

This is what Christmas is all about, John. Each year the Nativity scene was the first Christmas item unpacked and set on display by my mother. It was also the last to be packed away until the following year. She wanted us remember the true meaning of Christmas and not get caught up in the commercial hype. Great entry for Deb's contest! Wishing you success, my friend, and I'm not sure if she's sticking to the 5-7-5 syllable count. Some of the best haiku don't follow that pattern. Love, CD
