Witty first line. It paints a Rockwell picture. Thanks for your kind remarks. THe polls were wrong last night. REid slipped through. But Murray may not. Brown wins in CA, but pot vote goes up in smoke by a wide margin, so go figure the polls, eh!?

The Pilgrims had a harvest feast on Thanksgiving their time. Washington declared it a holiday after the Battle of Saratoga, and at the Declaration of Independence. A Sarah Josepha Hale in 1863 campaigned for many years to include it big style. Turkey in our modern world is associated with it. Isn't it amazing that when the Pilgrims landed, there was actually two English speaking Wampanoag Indians where they landed way back in 1621, they were Squanto & Samoset - wow eh!! >> James :)
