world not at our feet

and i go out into the rumbling street
we stand side by side with the world not at our feet
and then you leave, you leave me alone
my heart can feel like its made of nothing but stone
yet i do nothing, because sometimes i feel nothing

i wish i could ask you whats in my head
but you would push me away push me away
is it better being dead
when things dont go your way

so i'll die alone again like i have a thousand times before
just wishing that you'd knock on the door
drop your clothes to the floor
i just want something more
