I aspire to write a poem this good!! What I liked the most about it, was that the "lover" in the poem could represen many different things. To me it seemed like the "lover" in this poem was death...which is why he reffered to his elegant carriage. Just a guess?? :) Brilliant work!!

A magnificent epic, Syed. Your use of old English is an inspiration to all who have tried to write for Deborah Guzzi's English Sonnet contest. I love the story and the way the words flow. Love, Carolyn
