A golf limerick

While a man was golfing in Fife
a funeral cortege was arife,

       his head bowed in prayer
       at this somber affair

to pay last respects to his wife!

    What a fun and beauty in this lovely amusing Limerick. If you are trying U Tube for a Kawaali please search if you can find a Hindi film Kawaali - Title or the first line of the Kawaali is 'Meri Tasvir Le Ke Kya Karoge' What you would do by taking my Photo (Tasvir).     Mathew, to say a funeral cortege is arife is to say it is teeming with attendees. It's a creative variation of the word 'rife'. I simply used a grammar technique allowing 'A' to precede a noun in a prepositional phrase, forming a predicate or adverbial element (afoot ), or before an adjective (afar), or to a verb stem with the force of a present participle (ablaze). Doing this allowed me use of the appropriate word and to achieve the best meter and rhyme!
