P.S.--I read your recent blog about taking a break. Why are you taking a break after I finally register here man!?

Ah, so nice to see you posting haiku not written in english 5/7/5! I was getting worried looking at your older posts that you were only posting 5/7/5....that would be such a shame, not showing how clean and precise you can be. You did a terrific job with this haiku!>>Phong

THis was spectacular, Chris. What can I say? It's like you studied ALL the rules and just DID it. (I wish everyone had done the research, but then can you imagine how difficult my judging task would have been??) Congrats on your well deserved number one. LUv, Andrea ps my eyes will barely stay open. Why does it take me so dang long to judge these things??

Reads like a winners' circle Haiku to me..Good luck..I enjoy those geese every year...I usually see them around Nov. around here..Looking forward to maybe catching a quick view of them..Thanks for the kind comments on my work and looking for errors...I had to withdraw it from the contest for she said that it was not what she wanted...I enjoyed working on it so I gained an experience from it..Sara

I know when the last honking is gone the snow is not very far behind. I am amazed at how late they stay before they leave. I am sure they feel the frost in the cold mornings. Thank you for your help and comments on my poem Chris. Good luck on the contest. God Bless Phyl

Oh what a superb beauty in this lovely write my friend. Great Haiku and beautiful sketch of their slowly vanishing images. The wild geese are the loveliest bird I used to watch them coming and disappearing. Now they appear to have thinned or vanished, leaving me watching the sky only. My good wishes for your contest entry. And many thank for your precious and lovely comments on Patradoot 41. Love & best wishes...Ravindra ...Chris D Aechtner
