The reality of a walk in the woods

The beckoning still of a pool of
blue flowers
(Her eyes, they lure and I drift)

Sunlight filters above
(Her hair, soft, slips through
my fingers)

The caress of a whispering
breeze
(Her voice, caring, provocative)

The subtle turbulence of flora
(Her scent, sensual... come
closer)

Droplets gather and fall
(Her tears, she is vulnerable)

I want to take her hand
(I can’t)

We walk in the woods
( It is nothing more)

Hi paul. This is lovely.I like the images you have used and the subtlety of emotion you convey. It is soft and gentle and almost has a sadness to it, to desire something and know it is out of reach.Forbidden unrequited, who can say?you leave it to us the reader to form our own opinion therefore giving it an air of mystery. Loved it very much. And thankyou for kind comments on my own piece. Love June
