Study hard my friend, don't party too much and lose the education. Studying film sounds like fun. I bet it can be technical too. I don't see any new poems!!

So many great lines in this write about time and how we view it as we get older, Sami. I especially like the way you describe the thoughts related to the frown and the smile in the next to last verse. And surely it is true that "Experience plus age develops maturity into adulthood" as wel as a "Hatred towards time." Powerful poetry Sami! Love, Carolyn

Ah yes as children we were sheltered disillusioned by the real world.Yet we wished to be free and now that we are older. It feels like the weigh of the world is on our shoulders.Though i am only 16 i already sense the challenges that are to come.I Enjoyed this poem,Beautifully written,XoxoXo........ Sami, you asked about my storm poem and it is about my brother in law who was killed in a tornado 3 years ago. It left me scared of hearing the wind.

This poem describes stages in life and yes the more we grow, responsibilities grow too,yet so does our characters.I don't see weak and pale here. .I see a guy with challenges ahead. .Take them. .Life is a roller coaster..just go for the ride Sami:)Re your question on my poem,I'm in my early thirties but I do see Elvis as an icon of beauty and still one cool king. .tnx for visiting my work. .C.C
