The Depths of Old

I have seen many years
but retain not a clue

I performed many tasks
None of them complete

I have seen many years
Only one of them fun

I have been to strange places
But haven't lived yet

I speak of many experience
None of which I've had

I yet have seen many years
Nearly all of them sad

My life is contradictory
I herald at the arts of man
Belting bouts of misery

I am of years untold
I will never speak

Spirit, fragile and frail
My bones,weary and weak

The depths of Old Misery's tomb
hold secrets meant to keep
